Los Angeles Classification of Esophagitis *

Grade A Mucosal break < 5 mm in length

Grade B Mucosal break > 5mm

Grade C Mucosal break continuous between > 2 mucosal folds

Grade D Mucosal break > 75% of esophageal circumference
